About Us

Founded in 2019, La Maison Aromas is a family run business based in Gateshead, England. We specialise in luxurious hand-crafted wax melts and quality fragranced products for your home.

The name ‘La Maison Aromas’ was inspired by a love of French country style décor. I just adore the casual elegance of French countryside homes; they ooze comfort and are full of rustic charm and classically refined beauty. My home is filled with old furniture that I’ve lovingly transformed into French inspired pieces which are now cherished by myself, my partner Paul and our little dog Bailey. 

My obsession with fragrance is what started this adventure. Fragrance has the power to change the way we think, feel or act. It can lift our spirits, energise us, or enhance our pleasure, it’s also tightly linked to our memories. You may be surprised to learn that one of the first things people notice on entering your home is not the décor, it’s the aroma, and as scent is intertwined with our memories, it will likely be the last thing they’ll forget. One thing is for sure, whatever the décor, to me, a beautiful home always has a beautiful fragrance. Whether that’s the scent of freshly cut flowers in the hallway or the smell of grandma’s home baked gingerbread wafting from the kitchen. 

For years, I searched for fragranced products that could capture the essence of a beautiful home, but never quite fulfilled my expectations, therefore I decided to make my own. After months and months of experimenting, testing, and sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, I'm delighted to be able to share a collection of fragranced products that I believe not only smell beautiful, but also look elegant in any home decor.

Thanks to the amazing support from our wonderful customers, we’ve come a long way in two years. My family and I feel like we’re only just beginning and we look forward to what comes next. We hope you’ll join us on this journey.
